Miriam Kaerma is an Estonian actress based in London whose sweetness carries a quiet sting—blending charm with an edge, she creates characters that fuse vulnerability and power, captivating audiences with every performance.
On stage, Miriam starred as Matilda with Cloud Theatre on a tour across Europe and Asia and played the quick-witted stewardess Daisy May in Hollywood Afloat: 1930s, a musical period comedy with music by Terry Trower and book and lyrics by Susan Gregory. In this role, she navigated ambition, illusion, and self-expression aboard a glamorous shipping line. Her stage credits also include Jane Fairfax in EMMA with the Windsor Theatre Guild.
A dedicated artist who uses her creativity for good, Miriam premiered an original piano composition at Eton Parish Church during an Afternoon Variety Performance, helping raise over £1,500 for the British Red Cross DEC Ukraine Appeal.
As a singer, Miriam headlines the musical short Another Day of Sun, a global La La Land reimagining directed by Marc Sokolson and featuring over 130 artists across four continents. The project raised funds for the WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
Building on a strong theatre foundation, Miriam has expanded into screen work, with featured background roles in major productions including Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Bridgerton (Season 2). She also stars in an episode of Loud Voices, Silent Streets (dir. Luna Rose), a self-filmed monologue series exploring raw human truths. Her episode, centred on authenticity, showcases her emotional nuance in stripped-back, intimate storytelling.
Trained in Spiritual Psychology of Acting with John Osborne Hughes, Miriam Kaerma continually expands her range through stage combat, Latin ballroom, horseback riding, and American accent training. Fluent in English and Estonian, she brings an international presence and layered humanity to every role, whether on stage or on screen.
