Alex Keener is a versatile actor with a rich background in both theater and film. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Alex's passion for the arts began at a young age. He made his stage debut at the prestigious Rabbit Run Theater, a renowned institution that launched the careers of stars like Dustin Hoffman, Jessica Tandy, and Charles Grodin. As a child, Alex quickly found his voice on both stage and screen, starring in numerous local theatrical productions and commercials.

In high school, Alex's talents earned him multiple accolades, including a nomination for Best Vocal Performance at the Rotary Awards for his portrayal of the lead in ‘The Music Man,’ and a win for Best Supporting Actor as the Cantonese/Mandarin-speaking character Ching Ho in ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie.’

At just 21, Alex secured his SAG card after working on several feature films shot in Ohio. This early success propelled him to Los Angeles, where he attended the University of Southern California. There, he starred as the lead in ‘12 Angry Men’ and booked commercials for major brands like Nike, Speedway, and McDonald’s.

After graduating from USC, Alex began making his mark in television. He landed a recurring role as a bartender on NBC’s ‘The Playboy Club,’ starring alongside Amber Heard and Eddie Cibrian. His commitment to the industry also led him to serve as a SAG-AFTRA elected official, advocating for performers' rights.

Alex continued to expand his repertoire, playing a menacing villain in the feature film ‘Underdogs,’ which received a limited theatrical release. His versatility further shone through when he booked the role of Bear in ‘The Resonator: Miskatonic U’ for Amazon, followed by a standout performance in the indie film ‘Maginot Line,’ which drew attention in Deadline alongside co-star Mara Marini of ‘Parks and Recreation.’

When not working, Alex Keener enjoys life in West Hollywood, where he resides with his beloved air fryer. Whether on stage, on screen, or behind the scenes, Alex Keener’s passion and dedication remains dedicated to the performing arts.
